As you know in 2007 the wordsmiths chose “Subprime” as the word of last year.
Subprime became really popular, since the bank crisis in high-risk loans.
Let me give you my forecast for 2008 word: CHANGE.
Why do I think CHANGE is going to be the most popular word during 2008?
Well, let just see how Senador Obama and Senador Clinton are basing their message in the word Change. (don´t tell anyone, but my forecast is that Obama will be the Change-winner)
Let´s also ask our fellows at Hardvard Business Press, who are promoting, yet, the worldwide bestseller Leading Change, by JOhn P.Kotter (propably the book from where GE structured its CAP-WorkOut for Six Sigma).
CHANGE is what people ask for everywhere. They do not know why, but sometimes they just ask for it. When situations seem to be unbreakable, people ask for CHANGE.
CHANGE is your pockets…
CHANGE is Costa Rica…hard thing to do in a society that thinks, or feels, we do not need to change (close to a 48%, I guess…)
